Sport Amk - For the physical well-being of athletes!

The Tampere Sport Massage Institute has established a limited company called Sport Amk
registered at the Finnish Register of Companies on March 26th 2008.

The Tampere Sport Massage Institute has applied for a licence to establish University of
Applied Sciences - Sport Amk. Term of the licence is the capacity of the
institute to accomplish the criteria set for the universities of applied sciences by the
Finnish authorities of higher education.

 

The strenght of the Sport amk is the innovative strategy and qualified teaching staff practising their
profession continuously with top athletes in Finnish athletic clubs and sport clinics.
Internships are available to students of Sport Amk in various tasks within the field of top sports.

  
     
  Sport Amk is established to face the changed challenges of top sports.  
     
  Sport Amk has applied the licence for a four-year degree of 240 study points. The degree programs are:  
 
  • Sports Physiotherapist
  • Sports Osteopath
  • Equine Physiotherapist
  
     
  Our goal is to start study programs in Finnish on 2013 and programs in English on 2015.
